>> Teoksen taustalla on suomalainen uskomus painajaisesta pahansuopana olentona, joka yön turvin kiipeää nukkujan rinnan päälle ja tukahduttaa tämän. Peittoon kirjotut tekstit ja kuvat painajaisten ja pelkojen aiheista on kerätty eri ihmisiltä vuosien 2007 – 2010 aikana.

>> The concept for the work comes from the Finnish folklore where nightmare is depicted as malicious creature, who by night comes and crawls on top of the innocent sleeper and suffocates him / her. The texts and drawings about fears and nightmares on the blanket have been gathered from different people during years 2007 – 2010.
